Even though illuminate has only been out since Feb, we finished it almost a year ago and since having Toby in the band we have been writing steadily!
Now, we have a whole albums worth of tracks we want to get down. We’ve done a few rough demos, but we plan to get back in the studio pretty soon and get the tracks down solidly. Meat arm (& Carly) have their baby due for October so were planning to have something done or in motion by then!

For the past few nights I’ve been working on the nurse website and the new secret page. It’s got a pretty nice jukebox and another new feature is a secret fan page with goodies.

4 Track ep (July 2003)
I came across a pile of old cdrs and one of them was Nurses first ever release (feat. Doug) which was a 4 track demo we done really rough in my spare room at my parents house.
The 4 tracks include the original ’Vandal Attack‘ & ‘Radio‘ which we re-released in 2006, as well as 2 other songs that I almost forgot about, ‘Gotta come back‘ and ‘Rod Song‘.
Rod song was the first song that was penned for nurse, before the band existed. After listening to Gemma hayes’ debut on repeat for months, I think it rubbed off on me whilst I was writing this song.
Anyways, Im going to do a little re-recording off it for fun, and I’ll put it up on here for all to listen to.

Got my hands on a nice nylon string acoustic. The neck is alot chunkier than what I’m used to so will take a bit of getting used to!

Good gig tonight. My ears hurt. Might be cos ken from trash Monroe was shouting in them. Might be cos we was beef. If was filmed so maybe we can put it up!

It’s been almost 10 years since I’ve played club Riga and I’m really looking forward to it!
We get to play meatslop, treehouse and new beast little things tonight, which shall be fun!
